Newmarket Hurricanes

The Newmarket Hurricanes were welcomed back home at the Ray Twinney Complex. My grandfather (Gerry Ertl), one of the team’s founders, had the honour of dropping the puck for the home opener. The team also unveiled a banner recognizing all the founders - a meaningful tribute to their legacy. Our family has shared so many memories at the rink, and we’re excited to see the Hurricanes back.
